GREECE TAKES THE GOLD IN THE BALKAN CHAMPIONSHIP

 

The 2nd Balkan Softball Championship was held in Sofia, Bulgaria this weekend with great success for Greek Softball.

The Women’s National Team won the gold medal, defeating the championship organizers Bulgaria in the final.

With strong hits, impressive pitching, tough defense and aggressive base-running, our National team left no room for Bulgaria’s reaction and took the final 9-0 by mercy rule in the 5th inning.

It is the 2nd consecutive gold for Greece in the Balkans, creating a tradition in the Championship.
